
Banda Island. The Banda Sea lies more or less in the middle of the sprawling mass of islands that comprise Indonesia, lapping the shores of Sulawesi to the east, Alor to the south and with Irian Jaya to the west. It is little wonder that the Banda region is considered one of the finest dive destinations on the world.
Indragiri Hilir. Solop beach is one of beaches that are available in the regency of Indragiri Hilir. It is a unique village to visit. In this village there are muddy areas with white sand made from skins of cockerels that was washed to the beach by the wave. Solop beach is so beautiful and its location is strategic in between Tembilahan-Batam Island. The Solop beach beauty is also due to the small island in front of the beach and here you can see wonderful view of sunset. This serves as an added beauty and attraction.
Raja Ampat Diving Tips. The best things I can say about our previous trips, is that some of those divers signed up for 2005 and 2006! We have 40% repeat guests in 2006 but always welcome new guests... and hope they are happy enough to join us again too.
Raja Ampat Reef. Healthy reefs, unusual reef structures and dive sites. Unusual dive sites and the most diverse marine life area ever recorded. Huge schools of fish: barracuda, surgeonfish, fusiliers, batfish, sweetlips... macro creatures: blue-ring octopus, pygmy seahorses, double ended pipefish, shrimp gobies, nudibranchs, and loads of reef fish. Beautiful unspoiled topside scenery.
Pantar Strait. Pantar Strait that is the separation of Alor Island and Bantar Island is only visited by more and less 100 foreign tourists to dive in the sea park in a year. Such amount is just a small, out of target, considering that the enormous potencies on it. When the economic crisis hit Indonesia, there were only 187 divers came to the location and in the next year, noted that only 109 divers come to the location.
Banda Sea. More than 350 marine species are available within the waters area. Thousand species of fish are available as well that is one of the attractions of the location. That is why, most people coming to the location bring mission, mostly, to fish. There are still numerous mysteries that are kept uncovered so far. Therefore, this location is the right place for you who are undertaking research about marine life in Indonesian Archipelago.
Raja Ampat. Raja Ampat is the western island of Papua Island. The name of Raja Ampat based on the legend. This area had begun with 6 eggs that found by King Waikew in Waigeo Island. But from the 6 eggs, just 5 eggs had crack. The last was become an egg stone till now on.
Nias Island. Nias Island lies about 125 km of west Sumatra Island on the Indian Ocean. It is part of North Sumatra Province. The water surround the island is great for sea activities, such as surfing and scuba diving. The people also have curious culture, which will enrich visitor's heart. The island has some prehistoric remains, which built on megalithic Stone Age, and considered came from the oldest megalithic culture in Indonesia.
Komodo Island. A small island of 280 square km, Komodo is located between Sumbawa and Flores islands. It is famous for its giant lizards, considered the last of their kind remaining in the world today, the Komodo dragon. Called "ora" by the local people, Komodo "Dragon" (Varanus Komodoensis) is actually a giant monitor lizard. Growing up to 3 to 4 meters in length, its ancestors roamed the earth up to about half a million years ago.
Bintan. Bintan is the largest island in the Riau province, with its area is 1.140 sq. km width, with a coastline of about 105 km. The island has a population of about 200.000, and like the rest of Riau this is a true mix of cultures like Malay, Bugis, Chinese and the Orang Laut. Bintan is very close to the equator and have a tropical climate throughout the year, with temperatures ranging from 21° to 32°, with an average of 26° Celsius.
Batam. Batam is one of the 3,000 islands, which make up the Riau Archipelago and is closest to Singapore, which is only 20 km away or twenty minutes by air-conditioned ferry. It has a rapid-growing population of around 100.000. As the island develops into a major industrial and tourist area, it attracts an ever-increasing population from other Indonesian islands who see Batam as a haven of opportunity.
Wakatobi. Blessed with a house reef where you can begin your dive only 20m (60 feet) from the dive center, Wakatobi is often described as a live aboard with a built-in beach! In addition to the spectacular house reef, there are several dozens of easily accessible dive sites offering incredible marine life diversity, color and natural splendor.
